Designing clothes for riders is not the first time someone has tried it.
So we change the codes.
I'm not from the fashion world, but riding, horses and nature are essential to me. It's in the Drôme that I juggle entrepreneurship, horse riding and mountain sports.
Hiking, cycling, mountain biking, trail running... Have you ever compared the weight and textiles of these different sports? It's light, durable and ultra-comfortable. So why is there such a difference between riding and mountain sports? Good question!
If the elegance of certain garments on the market is undeniable, what about durability, comfort and manufacturing?
Aravolte is the fruit of two years' reflection on a sustainable equestrian brand.
My wish? To offer eco-designed, high-quality equipment without compromising comfort or technique.
My goal? That you no longer have to choose between comfort, technology and practicality.
Animal welfare, respect for people, manufacturing conditions, respect for the environment. Everything is essential.
I've decided to change the way I consume: food, clothing, etc.
I'm not the only one to feel this need, nor to hold such convictions high.
It's time to take action.
- Marion LUPETTI-GUIRAUD, Creator of Aravolte
We take our inspiration from high-mountain and endurance sports. They need lightness and resistance, and so do we in our riding.
Our comfort is improved, as is our performance, in short: we feel good in our riding pants!
Respect and sharing are our watchwords when it comes to developing our products. Choosing our partners wasn't easy, in fact it was a long-term process. We toured France to meet companies in the textile industry, to learn about their businesses, understand their products and share their values. In the end, we opted for suppliers specializing in "technical" fabrics.
These fabrics are ultra-light, resistant, breathable, water-repellent, UV-resistant... Quality. Period.
For long-lasting, trouble-free riding! This meticulous research enables us to offer you quality, durable, local products for leisure and competition riding.
Our workshop is in Savoie. They specialize in the manufacture of technical products.
Aravolte uses Hipli reusable packaging for more responsible deliveries. If you still want to receive your order in a cardboard box, at least it will be recycled!
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification offers a guarantee of control and certification of the non-toxicity of substances used in textiles and dyes.
Our suppliers are GRS-certified. This certification guarantees products sourced according to environmental and social criteria. This certification guarantees the use of recycled raw materials.
An ecological label created in 1992 by the European Union, it certifies compliance with strict requirements. How is it awarded? By taking into account the environmental impact of products throughout their life cycle. For textiles, this means :
A stronger, higher-quality product
Less polluting manufacturing processes
Use of harmful substances limited or prohibited
Compliance with working conditions criteria.
France Terre Textile is the only independent organization rewarding products where more than 3/4 of the production operations are carried out in France.
From the manufacture of the fabric to the finished garment, this organization is based on criteria of short-circuit manufacturing, quality, and social and environmental responsibility.
Our supplier PAYEN is a member of France Terre Textile.
The Italian company Fulgar is behind the Q-Nova® process.
What is Q-Nova? It's a Nylon/Polyamide 6-6 fiber derived from regenerated Nylon raw materials.
The Fulgar company recovers its Nylon scraps, originally destroyed, in order to reintegrate them as raw material in a new production cycle.
It's an environmentally-friendly fiber, because its manufacturing process limits waste production and involves no additional chemistry.
A few facts about Q-Nova® :
25L of petroleum and 159L of water are saved compared with virgin polyamide or nylon.
The fiber is certified: Global Recycled Standard, European Ecolabel, OekoTex 100.
Up to 80% of CO2 emissions can be saved compared with virgin polyamide or nylon.
However, not everything can be perfect: this fiber is composed of Nylon/Polyamide 6-6 and is therefore partly responsible for micro-particle pollution. That's why Aravolte offers you a GuppyFriend® bag to retain these micro-particles.
We welcome you to our ephemeral stores during equestrian competitions!
